Faith Centers are the local outreach arm of Houston’s First Baptist Church, strategically located in communities across the city of Houston. These ministry hubs offer tangible help and heartfelt hope through spiritual encouragement, education, resources, and partnerships. Whether meeting physical needs, sharing the Gospel, or building relationships, each center is a place where lives are impacted and Christ is made known.

Serving a richly diverse area in southwest Houston, Faith Center Harwin offers ESL classes, computer training, food distribution, and weekly Bible studies. It's a place of hospitality where neighbors — many of whom are new to the U.S. — are welcomed, supported, and connected to the love of Jesus.

Located near The Loop Campus, this center partners with local organizations to offer support for children and families, including after-school programs, tutoring, and community events. Faith Center Timbergrove is a consistent presence for encouragement, help, and connection.

Each Faith Center offers a unique mix of services based on the needs of its surrounding community—these may include ESL classes, food distribution, mentoring, Bible studies, and more.

You can volunteer individually or with a Life Bible Study group. Opportunities include teaching ESL, mentoring students, assisting with food distribution, or helping with events.

Yes! If you or someone you know needs assistance, each center has staff or volunteers ready to connect you with available resources and spiritual encouragement.
