At Houston's First, every dollar given is a seed planted in God’s Kingdom—impacting lives here in our city, across the nation, and around the world. Whether you have $20 in your bank account or have been blessed with abundance, your faithful generosity matters. Together, we can do more than we ever could alone.
Thank you for sharing your generosity to support the ministry of Houston's First!
Select your campus below to give towards our Kingdom Come one-fund initiative. This initiative includes our Great Commission Fund (general operating budget) and other causes.
Between now and February 2028, tithes and offerings are allocated to the Kingdom Come one-fund initiative that supports our Great Commision Fund. This fuels the day-to-day operations of Houston's First as we seek to fulfill the mission of sharing the Gospel and making disciples.
Through General Missions, you directly support the hands and feet of Christ in action—local and global missions that bring hope, healing, and the Good News of Jesus to those who need it most.
Giving is an act of worship and obedience to God. The Bible teaches us to give cheerfully (2 Cor. 9:7) and to support the work of the church in spreading the Gospel and serving others.
Kingdom Come is a One-Fund Initiative over the next two years. A one-fund is different from a traditional capital campaign, where you are called to give an extra gift above and beyond your normal giving. With this approach, we come together to trust God with a single fund that fuels ministry and missions today while preparing for what He has planned for tomorrow. Other designated gifts (World Missions Offering, local missions, disaster relief, etc.) will not be applied against your commitment. To check your Kingdom Come commitment, click here. You can learn more about Kingdom Come here.
You can give in multiple ways:
Yes, all contributions to the church are tax-deductible as allowed by law. You will receive a giving statement at the end of the year for tax purposes.
A tithe means giving 10% of your income to God’s work (Malachi 3:10). While tithing is a biblical principle, we encourage each person to give as they feel led by God—cheerfully and sacrificially.
Yes! While tithes go to the general ministry of the church (The Great Commission Fund), you can also give to specific ministries such as missions or benevolence. Simply select your designation when giving online or note it on your check or envelope.
All gifts support the mission and ministry of the church, including worship services, discipleship programs, local and global missions, community outreach, staff support, and maintaining church facilities.
If you have any questions about giving, need assistance setting up online giving, or want to request your giving statement, please contact our finance office at Finance@HoustonsFirst.org.
We understand that financial circumstances vary. Giving is just one way to worship God—your time, talents, and prayers are also valuable contributions to the church’s ministry. If you need financial guidance, we also offer biblical financial counseling resources.
