The story of God is one of transformation — His Kingdom breaking into the earth through ordinary people surrendered to Him.

You are invited to embrace an impactful vision and live with joyful generosity as we advance God’s Kingdom through Houston’s First.

For generations, men and women at Houston's First have prayed, given, and sacrificed so that countless lives could be changed.

Now, it is our turn.

God has been writing a powerful story through Houston’s First for generations, and He is not finished yet. This short video shares the heart behind Kingdom Come.

Kingdom Come Initiative

Kingdom Come is a church-wide journey to align our hearts, prayers, and generosity with what God desires to do in and through Houston’s First. This initiative is about faith-filled obedience — seeking God’s Kingdom first and trusting Him to work beyond what we could ask or imagine.

Primary Goal

100% Participation

You are invited to embrace an impactful vision and live with joyful generosity as we advance God’s Kingdom through Houston’s First.

Advancing in
Surrender

“Lord, Your Kingdom Come in me.”

What am I holding back from Jesus and need to relinquish to Him?

Advancing in
Faith

“Lord, Your Kingdom Come through me.”

What steps do I need to take to deepen my dependence upon Jesus?

Advancing in
Generosity

“Lord, Your Kingdom Come with Your resources.”

How can I honor God more through my financial generosity?

Secondary Goal

$150 Million Over Two Years

We believe the Lord has positioned Houston’s First for such a time as this. Together, through faith and generosity, we will witness His Kingdom advancing in powerful ways.

We believe God has positioned Houston’s First for such a time as this. Together, through joyful generosity, we will see His Kingdom advance through:

Our Community — Advancing the Gospel impact of Houston’s First in our communities by expanding and improving facilities across all our campuses

Our Compassion — Advancing the love of Christ by taking the Gospel across our city, our nation, and around the world

Explore the Kingdom Come Booklet

The Kingdom Come booklet walks through the heart, prayer, and vision that fuels Kingdom Come in more detail. Inside, you’ll find Scripture, devotionals, and guidance to help you discern how God may be leading you to participate.

Commit Together

Kingdom Come is a One-Fund Initiative over the next two years. A one-fund is different from a traditional capital campaign, where you are called to give an extra gift above and beyond your normal giving. With this approach, we come together to trust God with a single fund that fuels ministry and missions today while preparing for what He has planned for tomorrow.

Hear Pastor Gregg share more about a One-Fund Initiative and how our collective faith can make an eternal impact.

Kingdom Come is our chance to align our lives with God's eternal purposes and to experience the joy of advancing His Kingdom together.

When you’re ready, we invite you to prayerfully consider your commitment and take your next step.
